There are sewer gases/foul odor coming from the drains in my 2nd floor bathroom. Bathroom is used on a daily bases, the sinks don't leak , the toilet has no water leaking around the base. The shower stall smells the worst. I have tried vingar, bleach, draino, etc. The house has 5 full baths and I don't know if the vent is blocked. Any suggestions? Thax

sounds like you do not have a p trap.this is what keeps sewer gases from in .you said you used bleach.if you do have a p trap ,1 cup of bleach down the drain after you use the shower should take care of this.

One of the first palces we lived in after we got married had this smell. It turned out to be the wax seal under the toilet. It did not leak water but smell leaked out.

Good Luck!

make sure the pea trap has water in it. if that does not work call your water/sewer department of your city & they can do a smoke test for sewer gas

I heard that buttermilk will neutralize the smell, try that. As for your drain, check to see if hair is clogging it up.
