I Live in Oregon so I got both of my dogs from the humane societies. My black lab I adopted from Greenhill and my chocolate lab from Florence. I feel that we should try to save these "unwanted" animals that deserve loving homes like any other pet. Also we need to put more restrictions on back yard breeding and should have cheaper costs for spay/neutering animals. As Bob Barker always says, "HELP CONTROL THE PET POPULATION, HAVE YOUR DOG SPAYED OR NEUTERED!"

I purchased our new kitten from Furry Friends. It cost $80, but they've had all their kitten shots, rabies vaccine and have been neutered or spayed. Good deal.

They are shelters and rescues. Theres not a "Store" you buy strays from. Each shelter and rescue has there own name. Depends where you live and where you are as to the names of the shelters or Rescues.
