do you celebrate for days, plan all sorts of things or do you let it come and go quietly, no matter how old you are?

Mine is May 15th, I don`t really like celebrations, I go to dinner w/ my Mom and my husband... other relatives always take me out to eat and buy me gifts, my students always want to celebrate, but I think they do it to have free time and a little fun... I usually don`t go along with that .....but I`m retiring and if they want to celebrate I`m going to allow it.. after all this was a nice group overall...

August 8
I party and buy/receive gifts all year round so my birthday to me is no big deal.
If someone plans something for me, then ok I'll go with it, but I don't make huge plans or nothing.

It's a day just like any other day.

April 10. I have never planned a celebration for myself. I just let it unfold and what will be will be.

My birthday is in 7 days, I don't do much for my birthday, I really don't like to celebrate it, its just another day for me.

April. I would prefer to go to dinner and nothing else. The kids like to make a big deal out of it though.
