The Sun sells the most copies. However it's certainly not a quality source of anything other than gossip, labour propaganda and pornography - all worded to appeal to those with a reading age of 10.

When tested, The Sun had a reading age of 9-10.
It is full of very very simple language and often the news isn't news at all.
You can't start a news report with: possibly or maybe because that is just speculation and NOT news at all!
Wrap your chips in it but if you have to read something, read a book.

Used to be good for wrapping chips in. Beyond that can't say that The Sun has any redeeming values.
