there's really no telling what would happen,., it could cause huge weather changes worldwide, it could even maybe trigger another ice age. it's never been done so it's hard to predict what would happen.
things to know are that there would be no more Carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere than if all that would was to just rot naturally.

It would use tons of trees, which of course provide oxygen, and would probably cause lots of damage to the environment. Even so it probably be preety cool looking from outerspace. Other besides that I'm not to sure what would happen.
