It is possible to major in film though most of the best film schools are post grad. UCLA and Cal State Northridge both have good undergrad programs.

Well that would depend on the requirements of the film school. It's always important to have a back up plan.
You could also try attending both just do one as part time.

i have the same question. this is not an answer but what are u interested in . acting film directing what.
