Mild, watered down bleach. Try different dilutions; as if it is too strong, it will yellow the paper. Start with 1 bleach to 2 water. keep off you clothing or other fabric as it will bleach that also.

a simple hypochlorite bleach, probably, that oxidises the chromatophore part of a molecule to make it into a white substance. The solution is diluted, else if too concentrated it will corrode the paper.
