Yes.....it's very common. Many 1st pregnancies go past their due date anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. These days it is rare that a doctor will let you go past 2 weeks without trying to induce you. The time will come...don't worry you won't be pregnant forever, even if it feels like it sometimes.

I was two weeks early with my first child, but that's very rare. I don't know the exact percentage, but I would say the majority of first births go over their due date. At least that's the case with friends and acquaintances of mine. I was planning on just that, when my water broke (2 weeks early), and there I was. Be prepared for early, but you'll probably go a little late.

It is very common. Most people don't expect first time moms to go into labor on time, have quick labor or push for a short period of time. But it happens the opposite way too. I went into labor and had my son at 37 weeks I was in labor at the hospital for 6 hours and I pushed for 12 min. All that after EVERYONE told me to expect to be at least 40 weeks, be in labor for AT LEAST 14 hours and push for about an hour and a half.

My well being care provider stated me that they have by way of no potential obtrusive a pretend confident being pregnant test, so i'm attractive particular the probabilities of you getting 2 pretend positives are very, very slender. Congratulations! As on your fiance being at fortress Knox, that's ultimate approximately 9 weeks so as which you ought to not be too a methods alongside by way of the element he's finished and kinfolk Day comes around. not particular how the army is for basic guidance anymore, inspite of the undeniable fact which you may deliver him a purple bypass message as quickly because of the fact the being pregnant is verified, talk to him on the telephone (we ultimate won a 2 minute phonecall in basic), write him a letter, or see him on kinfolk Day. Do you already know wherein he's going for AIT? good good fortune and want concerns be certain for the staggering! Edit: Hmmm Minnesota to Kentucky is very the rigidity or flight. i might attempt to think of an inventive and a snicker option to tell him in case you're actually not waiting to make it to companion and little ones day. i might pass to a well being care provider and get the being pregnant verified previously than letting him understand, in basic terms in case in order that he does not grow to be disillusioned throughout basic guidance devoid of individual to truly talk to approximately it. I had some cramping in my first trimester inspite of the undeniable fact that not something that presented me to my knees. That in basic terms does not sound nicely. I want concerns be certain for the staggering, and that i'm particular he would be rather excited to be a father :)

Usually if you're ever overdue with any of your children it's your first one. I was almost 2 weeks overdue so they induced me. But it is pretty common to be overdue with your first child.

I went 4 days past my due date. But just because it is a "due date" That is just an estimate. My doctor talked to me about inducing and told me he didn't want to induce me. We wanted to see how it would go. That was at 40weeks and 2days At 40weeks and 4days I had my baby very very quickly I might add! So yeah, it's pretty common.

Everyone is diffrent. A due date is not on the dot. So a week before or a week after is totally normal. Also you might ask your dr what your chances are since every one is diffrent. thanks. Hope this helps.

i think its pretty common, but really depends on the size of the baby and how active you are.. be prepared to wait at least a week... but doctors are not supposed to make you wait more than two...
