My husband always leaves for work before me. So he wakes me up with a big hug and kiss, we both say I love you and be safe.
When we go to bed, we have this tradition and I can't get to sleep unless he says it. He says, Good night, see you in the morning and then I always say I love you and so does he.
It sounds corny, but it's stuff like this that makes having a spouse/partner so loving and comforting :).

When I get up, I talk to my cats because there's at least one right around me and the other two aren't far away, before I go to bed I guess it would be the same thing. My daughter's already in bed and I've already said goodnight to her.

Probably-"c',mon girl lets go outside" to my dog, and last thing is probably "see ya tomorrow" to my husband since he works midnights and he is out the door when I am falling asleep!
