anyone know the kids toy from the 80's early 90's that was red, looked like a camera and you would look into it. then there was a white switch type thing on the side and when u pressed it down u could change the slide. you could also buy new slides at the store and put em in. the slides were round with lil images on em that look similar to negatives from a real camera. the toy was red and im wondering what the name of it is.

It's called a viewmaster. I loved that toy! I had some slides of Disneyworld.

Viewmaster- They were around long B4 the 80's but they used to be beige. It looked sort of like a pair of binoculars.
I had one in the early 70'S and had some discs from the original star trek series, and the Batman TV show, I wish I still had them. Many tourist attractions sold packets of the discs, such as national parks and amusement parks.

Sounds like a Viewfinder. But it is older than that, I had a red one just like that when I was a little girl in the 70's

Can't remember what they were called but I had one in the '50's.
Think they may have been made by Kodak in those days
