why does the news media keep reporting that gas stations make mvery little profit?

i work in this field ,,, do not buy into the idea that these companies make very littl profit,,, granted the most profit comes from inside store sells as candy, drinks and so on... but the company i work for ,, profits range from .21 cents to .36 cents per gallon,, we are being feed a pack of lies on the profit on gasoline ,,. but no one will stand up and fight this ,, instead we simply take it,, we gripe about it,, nothing else.. the biggest lose to a company is drive offs,, ( please do not do that,,, that is not right it is stealing ) we all feel like it sometime... it takes people power to get this under control,,, if you saw the other day that the head of the auto companies testified before congress committee, and stated that the auto companies in the usa opposed making cars more fuel efficent,,, because it would cost jobs...

um, 21 to 36 cents per gallon is very little profit. that's a very low margin compared to other products, including everything else the station sells.

but to answer your question, the media is pointing this out because their mission is to demonize "Big Oil", not necessarily the small time station owner. It's all part of their misguided agenda. We all supposed to ignore the fact that a gallon of gasoline cost less than a gallon of most other manufactured/processed/refined liquids including milk, water, salad dressing, cooking oil, ice cream, etc, etc, etc....

i could like, purely as quickly as, for a number of those loud mouthed, parroting babies to teach a like, only one, with evidence. yet this is going to not ensue. to boot, in the event that they understand lots approximately Fox mendacity, why do they watch it lots? isn't that purely evidence to you that they are parrots, and might't think of for themselves.
