A Q for laptop experts: what do u think of this laptop?

Is it a good investment? Does any1 have it? If so, what are the problems with it?

My only comments on that laptop are:

that you gave, they do not say how fast the memory is. With a processor like that, to make the most use of it, the memory speed should be at least 500Mhz.

It also says that the battery life is 1.3 hours. It depends on what you're using this laptop for, but that isn't super long.

Also, it is a VAIO. I have never owned a VAIO, but I have heard that they do not last very long and after a while they get weird errors, glitches, etc.

Other than that, it's a nice computer.

Hi m8, whatever u do, dont buy a computer from Comet, no disrespect to them but anything goes wrong they dont have experts to help.

PC world is ur best bet, as they have their own engineers on site, also, I was told by pc world that should I buy a computer from them and bought an extended warranty then they would do a free health check on it for U for the length of time ur extended warranty is for.

Currys, I bought my laptop from Currys who are in the same group of companies as Pc world and dixons. I took an extended warranty out with Currys, and I have found out just how good their warranty is, no matter what the prob an engineer will call and if it cannot be fixed at home he will take it away to workshop, pc should be returned in a few days, cannot remember how many. If they cannot fix it, u will get a voucher for a new one. Currys warranty was half comets price on an mp3 player I wanted to buy.

get a macbook
