I lost my mobile 2 weeks ago. When i ring it, it goes straight on to my answer machine. I have called all the places i was at, informed the lost property at the police station, and also the bus station. I have not called orange yet. It was a pay as you go.
I would not worry it had sentimental photos of a late relative! Anyone got any suggestions? Is it the phone that the telephone no is allocated to or the sim card? cheers!

not a lot less im afraid
the phone no is allocated to the sim so u can always get a new sim and get your no transferred but theres a chance that the finder has taken the sim out and put their own in there thats why it is going to answer machine
ring orange and get it blocked and get a new sim card but in regards to getting the phone itself back there is a slim to none chance of getting it back along with the pics..... sorry!

I would agree with what's been said by the other answerers here, but I would add something else. When you call Orange to get your phone blocked, make sure they block the handset, because sometimes they only block the simcard, which doesn't really help. If they block the phone as well, it'll be locked to all networks. This means that whoever's currently using it won't be able to any more, not on Orange or any other network.

Hi there is nothing you can do to get the photos back, you can get orange to block it but that will only stopp them from getting personnal numbers It all depends where you were at the time. Where you out clubbing, in a taxi, shopping. It could be anywhere. Its the phone and the sim the number is allocated to but if you get the sim blocked then i until you find the phone is when you can get th esim unblocked.

Phone Orange and cancel it,if the number is cancelled you can have it back on a new sim, they will send you one to put in a new phone.

Im sorry about your photos,in future put them on your computer so you cant lose them ☺
