I think it would be pretty awesome to make a star wars movie on a younger Darth Sideous, showing how he came about, as well as a younger version of popular jedi such as Yoda, Mace Windu, Qui-Gon Jinn, Count Dooku, Ki-Adi-Mundi, a child version of Obi-Wan Kenobi. This would also be an opportunity to introduce old siths such as, Xanatos, Darth Cognus, Darth Bandon, Darth Krayt, and Darth Plagueis. During this time the sith would rule the galaxy. It would roll right in to Star Wars Episode I. Even though it probably won't happen it was just a thought. What do you think?

I agree that it would be awesome to show some of the history, but wouldn't it get never ending? If you showed their history, you'd have to show their mentor's history and so on.

I would defintely want to see a movie set in the Knights of the Old Republic era. There is so much they can do with that time when both the Dark and Light Side are strong. I will have stick with the comics. A friend and I have talked about this for years. Star Wars could go on forever!

I like the idea... There are three more stories, (episodes 7, 8, and 9). But there has been a lot of flip flop from George Lucas as to whether his son will take the reins or not to make the movies.

Not please no more; I loved the original from 78, the 2 was so-so but still good, the 3 was better that the 2 but not like the first one; But the last 3 about the begining of dark Vader were a nightmare they were so boring you could have made 1hour movie out of the three. I just saw the one with DarkMuil but after that toture I let the other two for cabel tv using my VCR recorder (to be able to speed up or skip the boring parts). It seems Lucas had nothing better to do than recicle old ideas.

well thats def NOT going to happen.

the only thing thats younger that Lucas (supposedly) is looking at,

is 800 years earlier during the oriiginal sith wars where a very young yoda helps win them.

this is based on something a friend of mine told me of a friend running into lucas.

Yeah I would love that too but as someone else said it would become never ending...not that I would mind that either! The Expanded Universe has so many great stories that would make excellent movies.

"Episode 0.5: The Rip-off continues"... After watching the three latest bastardizations of the Star Wars series, how can you even ponder them making another film travesty which will do nothing further than to dilute a formerly brilliant cinematic masterpiece...
