Come on, people, it was a 3 year olds' programme (and one that I watched every day for years). They were just friends. It was an innocent programme taken out of proportion by people who read too much into things!

They were just friends but grew up and realised that they had fallen inlove and got married and had two children called Rose and Jimmy. Hope this helps
