Which do you use at home or office?

The reason I ask is simply because Malaysia (Multimedia Super Corridor nation) will join FTA with the USA. I means a bilateral agreement will take place where there would be more choices in goods and services as well as modern technologies available especially for Malaysians.

Like what the others said,
Pc is cheaper & Mac is expensive are the common comments.
Actually, it lies on what application will u going to use.

If you are use the computer for personnal entertainment.
PC will be the best choice, because it is cheaper, friendly to games application & easy for hardware parts replacement to be found.

But if you are in the design field, i recommend that you use MAC.
Because mostly of the CAD or design application are running in 100% CPU ultilization during the operation.

For normal pc, it will not able to take it, as u know the CPU will overheat if the CPU ultilized in 100% for a long while.
Which will always cause pc hang in short term & for long term it be lead to severe damage to some of the capacitor on the pc motherboard.

For MAC, it is extremely good airflow & arctechture design for heavy duty.
However, mac does not support most popular games in the market, especially those online games.
Furthermore, the parts for mac is not cheap & easyly been found in malaysia

Be noted that, there are some intel base MAC are available in the market, i would comment that there are good in exterior design and also cheap if compare with those apple cpu base unit. But for performance, i will not going to comment about it. Due to i haven tried it before.

a million. First off your premise is flawed. PC's do NOT include phrase, powerpoint and excel.. If you fortunate they arrive with works. You ought to upload MS OFFICE to a PC identical to for a MAC. two. Doesn't quite topic. Safari is being published for home windows. Its a bit buggy correct now, however I'm certain it's going to upgrade. Firefox and Opera is to be had for each. I do not suppose IE runs on mac. I could say this must topic to your selection method. 3You can run Bootcamp or Parallels on a mac and run the entire PC belongings you desire. AFAIK there is not any program to will let you run MAC program on PC. four. Games are the only discipline the Mac loosed significant time to the PC. Yes there are video games for the Mac, however a number of the video games are published for the PC. So if gaming is your ardour your could be greater off with a PC. five. PC's palms down. 6. niether. It quite comes all the way down to what you desire to do. For fundamental laptop want corresponding to phrase processing, electronic mail, web both will do the process. So you nice appear at what you desire to do and what program is to be had on both platform. With the record you gave on the finish, get the macbook. Seems like thats what you desire, and also you must be equipped to do the whole thing you record. Disclaimer: Personally I am a PC man, I like Linux, and the MAC is fine, however I do not suppose I could ever possess one..

I heard Mac is VERY stable... esp when you need to run your data using some kind of software and the running time might take few days... Mac will never hang and other pc will hang if you run something for so long.

my sister has a Mac. i use it sometimes and i still prefer other than Mac, even though i used to be very interested to have a Mac. but after using one, it wasn't really great. besides, i think the maintainance of PC is lower than Mac. and with PC, it's probably easier to add new hardwares or softwares to it. besides, it's cheaper

It depend on what application you are using? if your work/hobby is related to graphics or photo editing, best solution is Mac.
If your application is others than above, PC will do the work just fine.
Remember if you using Mac for normal application, its over kill.

in my opinion, it all comes down to how thick is ur wallet.Mac is a little bit expensive than other pc of the same spec, even it's maintainance, spareparts and repairs fees are much higher. But if u consider looks, its one of the best out there and the graphic is very nice, plus u got all this photo, video, music editing plus office that comes with it, no need to buy the software like using pc.

I think a mac is so much nicer to use once you get the hang of it. And you hardly ever hear of virus attacks on a mac. Its better adapted for designing. Have a go and see for yourself. I use the pc at the office but switch to my macbook at home.
