i mean i want to know about Australia's current government and also previous ones... ny1 can plzz help meh wid this...its my project thing -- i cant find a specific online!!

It is the same as that in Canada. They are a state within the Commonwealth. The head of Government is The Prime Minister, John Howard and he is head of a party that has the most seats in Parliament. The Governor General represents the Queen.The term is 4 years and then an election must be called. It is a democracy based on human rights and freedom.
