very difficult.......but link the colours to other senses.
Like taste......... red would be hot and spicy, blue would be cold and icy, yellow would be fresh and citrus
or touch...........red would be hot and rough..blue would be cold and metal, yellow would be warm and delicate
and so on with smell and sound.

I would describe red as something thats hot and cold for blue, maybe the smell of fresh cut grass as green, use the smell of an orange to describe orange, white would be some crisp clean bed sheets, i would describe pink as the smell of cotton candy, just be creative and give them a scent or feel to visualize!

Aristotle or Plato do question how one would describe yellow. You cannot do it without showing it someone. I think that you ought to re-post this in Philosophy and Religion. Describing abstract feelings to those that have never had them, no matter how much they deny it, is almost impossible. Try it yourself.

Blue -- have them touch cold water
Red -- have them feel heat
green -- have them smell fresh cut grass
Brown -- have them feel sand
pink -- have them smeel the scent of a cherry blossom.

You will have to make reference to the other senses. You have to look for similarities between the color and things that you can smell, hear or feel, and which remind you of that color.
