Earth will still be here. The tectonic plates will have moved, e.g., the Pacific Plate will have moved between 20 and 40 km to the Northwest relative to the North American Plate.
Earth will probably be inhabited by some different creatures - new species and such. It's possible that homo sapiens will have evolved into some new species by then. So even if we are not around, there's still hope for our DNA to survive.

the earth is already many many millions of years old and nothing we will do can change the way it will be in another million years .maybe we can temporarily but when we are done for nature will just take it back ,more trees will form more coal.oil, gas etc and some other clever buggers will evolve and start it all over again

This is a moot question. Who's gonna be alive in a million years to say, "See I told you so!"??

You are way too optimisitic if you think we will survive another million years. If we do, I suppose we will have infested nearby star systems by then.
