They are basically creating a political controversy, so they can be viewed as the saviors of the situation.

Creating the thought that man made global warming is a threat to all of humanity, while at the same time, showing the country that the democrats are the only ones who care about it, and/or will save you from it.

Well how about we debate the idea before going to tactic of discrediting someone. Let's objective discuss the issue like enlighten citizens before resulting the the propaganda tactic of shooting the messenger.

Yes. Just the same as the Terror Warnings, the ones that would go up when there was an election near. Fear has been a supreme motivator for politicians. "I may be average, but the terrorists will be in your back yard if you elect this guy . . ."

Remember that the person pushing this scare is the CEO and majority stockholder of a company that exclusively sells carbon certificates.

No. And if you quit trying to make a political issue out of it and look at what's actually going on, you'll see that the changes needed--reduced energy consumption and creating alternative energy sources--will create new industries and jobs--and reduce costs to consumers--and make us energy independant in the bargain.

The only people who lose are OPEC and the oil companies. My heart bleeds for them. . .LMAO!
