I have a Netgear wireless router and my brother forgot the password to it. It's saved on his computer so he can get on, but I can't. Is there some way to reset it or to find out what it is?

Are you referring to the password for the router configuration, or the WEP/WPA key? Log onto the router from his computer and you can change both the password and the wireless security key there.

Usually on the bottom of the router, there is a small pin hole (labeled "reset"). If you stick a pin in there for a 3-5 seconds, it will reset all the settings on the router back to factory default (including the password. Usually the default username is: "admin" and the password is: "admin" (without the quotes)).

Usually the default pass is (admin) on some routers but if he created his own password i dont know good luck.

Manually reset the router. Or log into the adminstration tool and change it... if it's saved on your brother's.
