You may be out of luck. Women do not play video games. Look at some of the worst sellers in video game history - barbie, E.T., Ms. Pacman... All of these games have one thing in common: they are made for women. And look at them now... Terrible graphics, awful gameplay, and no sales!

I have heard that EverQuest may be the answer, but do NOT have children! Unless you want them left in the car, that is!! ROFL!!

Let me make an assumption. You work a full time job and like to play video games now and then. In a fit of rage, you became married by accident and now have to live with the consequences. There is only one way out: make it look like an accident.

Are you going to do the house hold chores if she becomes addicted to video games. So then you plan on washing all the laundry and washing floors/dishes. Your going to vacuum and change your own sheets and do the grocery shopping and cooking and cleaning and anything else that comes a long. Just so that she will play video games and she won't bug you about laundry and such any more.

Are you a nut job or what?? Personally if it were me I sit right down and let your laundry pile up to the ceiling and let you figure it all out for your self, all while I played video games. Since you seem so eager for all of that to happen. Get real she is your wife, not your child. And it seems quite obvious that some one in your house needs to be the adult, since you don't seem to care about the daily things that need to be done.

Get her a Nintendo DS lite and a game about dogs or cats, brainage and some others that a 'mom' would like. there's one about cooking too. I got one and love it. Also, there's a slot for other games from gameboy advance in the back and she needs the Sims games. Those are fun. I hated games but love mine. I got a pink DS lite....she'll get addicted to the Sims games. I had my teen hide the sims game so I could clean house one day while she was at school.
Then don't get mad if you have no clean undies one day...just sow what you reap...

Here is a secret. Spend just a little time doing laundry and helping your wife and you will be in the end happier, and have more time to play video games and she will have time to play too and maybe learn to enjoy it. When you give a little you get back!

Have you tried doing the laundry? Even if she becomes "addicted to video games" you will eventually run out of clean laundry.

Do the laundry.

Once you screw it up once, she'll NEVER let you near it again. Trust me. I broke the silent treatment to a week long argument when my ex thought he would get independant and to the laundry. I gave my pride for the sake of my Levi's!

haha I have no idea, maybe you could help with the laundry and chores, you both can get all the chores done faster if you both do them, and you can offer to teach her to play. My husband taught me how to play Gears of War, and I play it more than he does! It is so addicting.

Do you have Tetris? I think it's a gateway game.

Once she is addicted, are you ready for the consequences? Her share of the chores may fall to the wayside as it sounds like yours already has. Will your marriage survive?

stash your laundry under the bed, they never look, then when she starts to do her laundry, throw your stuff in the washer so she wont see it,, and will fold it and such

Ummm.... If your wife is anything like me, your out of luck. I cannot work those darned controllers for nothing. You could try doing the chores as fast as you can when you get home so that you'll have the rest of the night to game...
