Long ago, there was this little dust speck who was so lonely that he could cry. It was winter, and the poor fleck felt heavy, ravaged by the cold chilly winds, dry to the bone... he had no one to talk to. And thus, the winter passed and the days never changed. Poor fleck had no one to turn to, had no one to play with. And then a miracle happened. Spring announced its arrival, and along came the warm wind from across the ocean. The wind, a world traveler, brought with it dust from around the world. Poor fleck was lolling about when the wind blew his way. Fleck looked up, and Lo and Behold! He suddenly had so many like him. Albeit different, but all the same... they were all like him. Poor fleck shouted in glee, as the flecks from around the world descended into his vicinity. They giggled, they made merry, and they decided to have a ball. They went about populating every human household they could find. And so it goes, every year, at this time, the descendants of our poor fleck commemorate their ancestors by going all out in spring, and populate human dwellings.
That, my dear friend, is the story of why we get dust at this time of the year. But one thing is for sure, they never lived happily ever after, because humans have a habit of vacuuming :-D

post wherever you want,
don't bother me. Probably because dust and grime is kinda dormant in the winter, if you have pet's when they shed, it's during the spring, and the dander adds to the dust, bacteria comes to life again, bugs.
Mixture of things.
Have a happy colorfull spring

It's a natural urge to clear out from your cozying of winter.
During the winter we cozy all sorts of "stuff" around us to insulate us. Come spring we want to shed ourselves of all that "stuff" and breath in the clean, crisp spring air!

Its because its spring. You have more to do. We practically hibernate in the winter, so when its spring, we get excited and have more to do. In a sense, its why we have such the fever to clean and get ready to hibernate for next winter.

It is a natural urge. There are seasonal urges we all have if only we took notice. These are all good when used.
