I bought a hyancyinth bulb that came with a vase. You are supposed to set the bulb in the neck with water just under the bulb, but not touching. The bulb started to rot so I planted it in a pot. Now the green that was poking out the top when I bought it is turning brown. Is there anything I can do to save it?

Well, not really. When a plant starts to rot like that, it is almost hopeless. That is because your plant is dying. But if you still have hopes that it will live, try watering it a lot, but not too much and use some plant food and make sure it has plenty of sunshine and really, fertle soil.

specific, in case you have a easy bulb you pass away on for 3 years. regardless of if that's a easy in the hall you swap on/off then you definately will use much less electricity besides the shown fact that this is going to keep funds purely after 9 years. that's based upon going from one hundred to 20 watts and electricity at $0.08 in line with kWh -- your bulbs, kWh fee and use kinds may well be diverse. each and every time you look at your power saving easy bulb you will get a heat feeling you're helping the planet -- which would be invaluable. decide for the recent bulbs.

Nope. Once it starts rotting, it's like trying to save a bad potato or onion. Throw it out.

mine are all planted in the dirt I water them every 2 to 4 days, they will turn brown and die back when their season has ended. it sounds like you might need to water them more often when they are in pots and make sure you have enough drainage in the pots. don't give up on them they may bloom next year.
