Yeah, like Alan Keyes? I hope you don't mean Obama, he isn't even African American. His ancestors were never slaves in this country brought against their will. He is half white and half Kenyan and has never had the struggles that African Americans have had.

America is ready and long overdue for a President that is effective and capable of doing the job: serving the people. It doesn't matter if the best person is African American, female, Roman Catholic, or whatever. Let's just get someone in that office that can finally do some good for this country.

America wont vote for an African American person. There are too many old white guys out there that would rather vote for a dog than anyone who isnt an old white guy.

Personally, I think thats sad. I dont care what color or gender a person is, if they're fit to run the country then more power to them.

America is ready for an African American president that has experience and is qualified. We are not ready for Obama, based on that criteria!

Obama has not one of the Above. American would not might desire to coach the Oval place of work right into a coaching grown with hit or pass over trial and mistake at his obligatory time. in spite of if that guy or woman be Caucasian, Polynesian, Alaskan Eskimo, community India, Oriental, Latino or Black. It would not count as long because of fact the needed adventure is there to get the activity achieved. finding at an persons race or gender and vote casting isn't the respond even in spite of the indisputable fact that many do and could. the main venture is what's the persons backgournd and adventure.

Yes. America needs big change. That includes it views of prejudism. It would be a good sign of change, but skin color certainly wouldn't be the main point. If he knows what real people want and is willing to fight for our rights and change the politics in government that has corrupted this world, he's got a bit of a chance to earn some votes without the color of his skin being an issue. Remember, the Indians were here first. What would it be like if they looked at us whites, like some of us look at the blacks?

First you're going to have to find a "African-American."

The problem here would be that would make him/her a naturalized citizen and therefore not eligible to be President.

I am so sick of this polliticaly correct crap. Call things and people what they are.

Black -- not African
An Anfrican is from Africa

I don't call myself a German-American

Enough already

Yes, we are. Unfortunately the only African-American running doesn't have the experience to get the nomination in his own party, much less beat the republicans.
