Explain why capitalism has appeared at the same time as democracy in the modern sense.?

Democracy in a Modern sense did not appear until the 1700's capitalism became prevalent much earlier. The form we know today is a direct result of the reformation in the 1400 to 1600, which made it OK to profit from another man's labor. Befor that it was OK as well( It was called slavery)

it hasn't - who told you it did? They lied - capitalism has been around much longer than modern democracy
