Most people would rather die than think; in fact, they do so.

1. Not all smart people create jobs.
2. Not all dumb people seek jobs.
3. Not everyone who creates a job is smart.
4. Not everyone who seeks a job is dumb.

Generally speaking your question is only partially right some of the time.

F
What is this need to generalize about people and categorize as smart and dumb ? Look out or the Geico caveman will be after you.

Jobs are created out of necessity to get work done when there is more work than adequate people to handle the load.
Often the workers are more intelligent than the employers....
I have never worked for a more intelligent employer.....though they may have controlled more assets.

If you are doing manufacturing you need workers to build products or they won't get made, then you need an office to handle the management. Everyone is smart at what they do.
The efficiency level determines who is dumb.

I don't think its so much how smart you are as your ways of dealing with the world. I own a small business and employ several people. But I don't think I am any smarter than so many others out there who are employed in various jobs.

In some ways you could say I am downright dumb. I choose to take a huge risk, invested thousands of dollars and work my tail end off for the privilege of earning a decent living on my own. It probably wasn't the smartest thing I ever did.

On the other hand, I sure am having fun. My future is in my hands and I have complete control of it.

Smart people create their own reality. Would you call Kobe Bryant dumb for having a boss? There is no asnwer to your question except what you believe. Everyone is free to create what they want and there is total abundance in the universe unless you choose to be poverty conscious, then good luck. My answer is whether you own the biz or you have a boss, you still created that job for yourself.

if that's true... then the majority of people in the world are "dumb"...

bit of a egotistical attitude...

I've known many people that were good at business, thus good at creating jobs... but weren't "that smart", only smart in their field....

if you changed it to "smart in business" I would agree...

but, naturally everyone isn't smart in "business"... everyone is different... and if everyone were smart in business, there would be no workers and the economy would collapse because no one would want to "work in a factory" but only create jobs... because they are too "smart" for that

I see this attitude of "only business owners are smart/valuable to society" a lot from conservatives... but without workers... jobs are as useless as a worker without a job... both are needed... and many workers are very intelligent, they just don't want to create jobs... just not what they want to do... not where their intelligence is...

like a scientist for example... most work for other people, yet they cure diseases... not exactly stupid, and without them, where would the medical CEOs be?

This coming from someone who spells "generally", 'generaly'.

Okay. Try getting funding for it. Unless you're a minority of some kind, it's going to be tough if you get it at all.

Creating jobs is a job in and of itself.

Was your job handed to you or did you seek it out (presuming you're employed).

Did Bush not run for (seek) his job as president? Speaking of Bush, where do thieves fit into this equation?

There are quite a few Nobel Prize winners who work at universities. They filled an open position after earning their PhD. I think they would disagree with you.
