why do people keep dogs?

i mean they are filthy disgusting animals and i view people who have dogs, especially white people who kiss their dogs and let their dogs lick them as nasty filthy people. no offence if you fll into this category but if the cap fits, wear it

What is it specifically about "white" people with dogs that offends you so much? I am a white woman with a dog that I love very much. She goes everywhere with me and sleeps in my bed. She's been around a lot longer than any of the losers I have ever gone out with! LOL!

Identifying with a dog(s) is a mental instability that have been ignored from the very beginning of the long relationship of man and dog. Most dog people feel and believe that their dog represent them. Remember a dog keeps its nose to the ground and its *** in the air.So much for representation.If you notice the dog people are very emotional, involved and lost in imagining what other dogs were their and what do their dog (rodent) detect and visualize. Talk about sad and piss-poor low. My-My ....Glad it isn't me.

i don't like to live with animals for similar reasons but i understand those who do and have had to put up with animals most my life. Once trained they shouldn't be too much trouble (mess) till thier old and dying like people become like children in the end too. They can have uses from companions, hunters, sports, meeting girls, hiking, camping, protection for old ladies, drug lords or even vikings. Dog has been with man for a long time.

The world really isn't that clean unless it's been scrubbed with bleach. You may enjoy the sterile white utopia but one day if you think about it the ammonia might make you naseous.

I Like dogs, we had a dog growing up and our house wasn't stinky. I think people just have to make an extra effort to keep their house clean when a pet arrives.

It's the same with a young child. The house can easily smell like Dirty Diapers and baby wipes. But some extra house freshener. No big deal

Sounds like you are an animal hater and that is a very sad thing to be. I love all animals, dogs are awesome, they love you no matter what and they are loyal unlike most people. I grew up with dogs, now I have cats and I love them just the same. I feel bad for you , you don't know what joys you are missing.

I agree, My dad has 4, he treats them like kids. Both of my neighbors have 3 each. They don't take care of them. Gee , I blessed to being living in the country. GOD BLESS

firstly it won't smell if you say...... CLEAN once in awhile, secondly i've lived in a zoo for as long as i can remember and i may not have had any brothers or sisters but having the animals around in some way makes up for that so i find that they do make pretty good company. so that's my reason
