not even close.

VoIP requires at least 128k up and down for crystal clear use. the compression used in Voip is still kinda bloaty, and that's JUST the voip, that's not taking into account having other data on the wire... If you want VOIP, I'd look at getting at least 512 or 768 adsl (w/ a 384 upstreadm)

voice chatting requires about the same amount. Skype uses about 128k as well..

Yes...voice is only 300-3,500 Hz which is only requires a 7kb/s line, regular phone voice line is WAY below 56kb/s, but you will have to add some for routing info and dialing. Should be enough if that is if ALL you are doing is talking and the VOIP is done correctly

My opinion the Xbox 360 purely because of fact i've got not had a Play Station because of fact the PS2, this is while i offered the 360 and have not offered the different console. yet once you want something solid yet inexpensive (eg. loose online) then pass with the PS3.

Its so so, but most of the times it doesnt give satisfactory results, voice is heard slow or heard late, number dialling also takes long time.There is humming sound sumtime.,.128 kbps is better.

i would recommend more.
i like to im my friends fast and watch videos without being choppy. if you get a real slow connection with a big kbps try clearing your computer of some files

it'd be good enough but i wouldn't recommend using it. BUT if thats all you have its good enough. it also depends if you have too many programs running. try to have either only two windows open or else your computer will be too slow. i hope this answer helps and u pick me as the best answer good luck to u.

try it - download skype, if it doesnt work get faster internet that way you know if you absoultley need faster internet and wether or not you need to pay for it
