There are some Record stores that will buy old records and if you have a complete collection of the 1960's like you say, you are better off check the Record stores.
EBay is fine but you could get a better price at the stores.
I had the Complete Collection of Elvis P. and sold it for $1200.00 at a Record store in California about three years ago. I got more for it then I did by trying EBay..
Your choice.

many stuff... purely too lots sentimental fee - - My Dad's old M1913 Enfield rifle, given to him in 1936 (age 12) whilst his Dad gave up the ghost so he would desire to feed the family contributors... there grew to become into no welfare / nutrition stamps back then. - My mom's Kitchen help mixer... a marriage present in 1959, and nevertheless working completely - The Sonobouy panel from my SH-60B Seahawk helicopter I flew in 1987-1991... very superb "nostril paintings" (international conflict II variety) painted on it for the period of wasteland hurricane.

Try eBay or a brick-and-mortar auction house. I haven't sold any at auction, but I have purchased at an auction house.

i think ebay is the best way to do it. amazon is another option. craigslist is a good way to do it for free but i don't think nearly as amany people would see it as posting it on ebay would.
