i love classic rock-queen, rolling stones, tom petty is one of my favorites, i also love 80's music (don't ask why, its my guilty pleasure) i like hip hop, rap, anything that you can dance to, i also love jam bands like phish and moe, i do like some country, but not everything. so pretty much i like most things, i do not like however, heavy metal music, ya know, the kind that you can't understand anything they are saying? so.. if you have any other suggestions,i am just trying to boost my itunes, so i will pretty much try anything. Thanks!

If you like Tom Petty (I know I do!!) You might like the Traveling Wilburys, which is a band he was in with Dylan, Harrison, Lynn and Orbison. I would also suggest Rush, Boston and Blue Oyster Cult.
Hope you like em.

Well I am going to suggest Metallica or Godsmack. They are metal bands, but you can actually decipher their lyrics.

Some suggestions Master of Puppets, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Battery, Sanitarium Welcome Home, Awake, Greed, Sick of Life, Mistakes

I will warn you to stay away from the new Metallica. As many others have probably said, it sucks. And well.......their right. Go for anything from 1991 or earlier
PS other suggestions---guns n roses or black sabbath
My favorites -------------paradise city, sweet child or mine, Civil War, ironman, electric funeral, war pigs, paranoid

The track that makes me cry probably the most is a track known as "My Immortal" through Evanescence. Beautiful , however unhappy written lyrics. A very robust track that brings me to tears from the first actual line of the track being sung. Every time. Amy Lee can sing the hell out of that track.
