How come some people don't like to take care their kids????

There are so many father-less children in the world. Why are men like that? You can't "hit it and quit it" when there's a child involved.

I hate to say it but you are correct in your statement. too many people have children before they are ready to give a life time commitment to caring for children.

But I don't honestly believe that this is the only cause. In why fathers do not step up and take on their responsibility to their children. Often times when there is a separation there comes another woman into the picture, she no more wants to deal with you and your child than the man on the moon. So she often sees you and your child as a threat to the new relationship and will often times cause problems when there is none.

Then the Dad is tied up in a cat fight between the two mothers it becomes impossible for him to have a healthy relationship with his child.

unfortunately the only one who pays for all this nonsense is the child.

Another reason for all this is believe it or not the lack of parenting. so many of our so called men were raised in a time that parents did not make them take responsibility for what they did. it was a real boys will be boys attitude.

Parents cheating and divorcing we call our new world progress I see it as regress.

It really is a sad situation. Whats even more sad is the fact that many children are being raised by someone else all together. Whether it be a family member or these poor children being bounced into the system and raised in foster homes. My son and daughterinlaw have a young lady in thier home. She calls them Mom and Dad and told me she now feels as if she really has a family that cares for her. I don't understand how someone could choose drugs and alcohol over thier children, some winding up in prison and never seeing thier children, being a part of thier lives. The first thing they seem to blame it on is thier childhood... I didn't have the happiest childhood, but I love my kids. I was never a drugged out person or a drinker. With some of the things I experienced in my life I could have easilly fallen into that trap.I made mistakes, Im not perfect, none of us are. I love my kids and they love me, they always need to come first. There are also some who say" I made a mistake! OK, then make it right and take responsability for the children you brought into this world! Clean up your act, if not for yourself, then for your children!

These are the parents that had fun making them, but never gave it a second thought to the responsibility of actually raising a child, which is not an easy thing.
Shame on them all! And it is not only men who do that, I have heard of plenty of women who run out on their children as well.

I completely agree with Creole.....women also have a responsibility. We actually choose,who fathers our children. (That's a fact.) A lot of women wouldn't be in that situation,if they were a bit more picky and a hell of a lot more careful.Men can't take ALL the blame.

Because there are many egocentric, selfish and mean people in the world. Unfortunately, many of them have kids. Having kids doesn't change their ways.
