When uploading music to iTunes on my PC, how do I stop it from automatically playing?

After it uploads the first song successfully then it starts to play it which is annoying on two accounts: Loud/startling and the upload of the remainder of the disc, by overloading the computer, may be compromised.

Click edit on your iTunes page, then click preference and then advanced. On advanced screen click impoting and unclick play while impoting and you are set. Hope that helps.
