Do you lick your fingers before counting papers?

I seal then lick. I use licking my fingers before counting papers as an excuse to taste what ever I touched. Usually after leaving the bosses office.

Yeah I lick envelopes before sealing them if I have no other choice, but the finger licking to turn pages totally grosses me out.

Well I lick envelopes to seal them because its easier and quicker than getting tape or a wet sponge.
And I dont lick my fingers to count papers unless theyre really sticking together because I think thats gross.

I moisten the flap of an envelope with saliva from my finger or from the sink... I heard of someone licking an envelope and getting a tiny slice on her tongue from it. A short time later, it appeared infected but it was actually a cockroach egg growing. Yuck.
I only lick a finger while turning pages if the pages are stuck together. (and only then if my hands are clean!)

no, i don't lick the envelopes...that is gross...who knows what was on them in the factory, then in the store they were in...I will lick my finger, and then wipe it on they envelope to seal it.
Yes, I do lick my finger before counting papers/money, etc...it seems to keep them from sticking together...but again w/ the OCD from above, I will not lick my finger twice in a row w/o washing my hands first.

How else are you supposed to seal them without licking it? So yes I lick it. As for the papers I do lick my finger once in a while it makes it easier to separate the papers when your fingers are dry and slippery.

I used to lick envelopes. Now I use just a piece of tape or wet the seal with glue.

No, Most envelopes are self sealing now anyway.. You lick your fingers while turning pages because the sticky saliva helps to turn pages one at a time..

I use a special little gizmo for moistening envelopes. Since the whole Susan scandal on Seinfled I haven't licked an envelope!! lol
And no I've never been a finger lickin' page turner either, I think it's nasty especially if it isn't yours!

Of course I lick envelopes, I sometimes lick my fingers. I do it because it makes what i'm doing easier.
