its pretty much impossible, but try explaining them as different moods and temperatures ETC

You Can't describe colour to a blind person, it's impossible!

did you ever watch the film mask... with cher in it well her son described colour to a blind girl to a tee

Relate it to smell, and taste

I mean.. they need a frame of reference.

Hot Pepper, Tomato = red.

Orange fruit = orange

Dandelion, banana = yellow

lime, Green Apple, celery = green.

Blueberry, some other berries = blue

Prune juice = Violet

Mashed potatoes = white.

red - hot and steamy. its like when your to hot outside and the suns beating down on you! and you want to take all your clothes off ;)

green- when you feel jealousy or envy over something!

black - when its dark, evil,, fear, terror

atually i dont think its really possible to describe colour to a blind person! wish we could though!

The first thing that comes to mind is the movie Mask. with Cher in it.
He gave her something hot and said it was like the color red.
I don't really remember any more. Been a long time since I saw it.

Depends if they have been blind since birth...

Really hard to do... if this is the case... I feel sorry for anyone in that condition.

blue thats easy, think something cold. yes, red try hot/warm. other colours would have definitions of smell i guess, more of touch, quite tricky isnt it...
