Far enough into the future so that cures to the world's dread illnesses have been discovered and doctors can fix my cancer and I can live out a full life.

For me, it really depends on where in another time. I would live in my own valley in California anytime before contact with "western culture".
I would get see the wild flowers and drink the water right out of the stream, to get to see abundant birds, fish (I have never seen a big fish in a stream yet in my life) and mammals some of whom are gone forever in my time, to see only forest that have that awe inspiring beauty of "old growth" and not the scraggly imitations we have left.
So basically I would only go back a couple hundred years, right where I am.

Well, I used to dream a lot about living during the Reformation, but with more education now, I'm thinking it's a pretty good bet that I would either have died of some terrible disease, spent my life in a convent, or gotten myself killed for dissenting from popular opinion. So, "now" is good....

Probably in the postwar period between 1945-1955. The country had just kicked some serious tyrant azz and optimism reigned. Most importanly, the scourge of political correctness, the modern welfare state, shrill, obnoxius socialist tyrants and American Idol had yet to pollute our great country.

Any time before the Industrial Revolution. It has ruined the world's environment, people's attitudes and laziness, and is responsible for our dwindling appreciation of anything outside of ourselves.

80,007 a.d. By then humans may have been elevated consciosness wise to a level which makes them, generally, more bearable? And, by then the world may have "leaders" who are not mostly psychopaths? :))

that's what i wanna do

sit around lookin pretty and flirting until i get married then have kids and only have to take care of them and nothing else
