My tastes are rather eclectic. I am a fan of classical, jazz can really make me feel introspective, rock brings out my feral nature, pop is sort of a go with the flow and the crowd sort of thing, I only like a couple of rap songs, not too keen on that genre. There is a little reggae out there that I like too. Country is my home base, that was the music I heard the most at home.

Music is the muse for the soul. It can bring out all kinds of emotion and if you are in a creative mood it can open your thought processes and help you explore the universe within.

So . . . . to answer your question. I prefer to listen to what I feel I need in the moment.

Well it depends on the situation...

For example: If I was sitting at home and I want to enjoy music... I'd listen to Rock.
If I go out and go cluubing or something, Rock isn't what I'm looking for... It would be anything with a beat (that you can dance 2).. Something that you never listen to the lyrics but the music. Jazz is nice and relaxing yes but I wouldn't put it on at home. That's my personal opinion...

Totally depends on my mood. If I'm into meditating or studying or just relaxing, classic. If I want to pep up, pop. If I'm into hearing something unique and creative, jazz. Right now I'm into some good old pump me up music, so I'm listening to rock. Or, metal, to be more specific.

I Ithink, jazz sounds greater "messy" which potential: The gamers are actually not playing so tight jointly as in different varieties, rhytmically as harmonically. In jazz tunes you hear issues which could be considered as blunders if the music could be performed in yet another sort. additionally it has a lot greater variety and complexity in unity. @jazzkeys44: I strongly disagree. of direction jazzplayers ought to play IN a fashion very tight jointly, yet this replaced into not the question. The question replaced into: How does jazz seem to you as listener listener while in comparison with different varieties? in case you play jazz, you're able to do rhytmically an excellent variety of issues, like working example velocity up and decelerate in pace as long as you do it jointly, etc...
