First things first. When we masturbate, it is not self love - it is more for self gratification... we do fantasize about other people when we do that. And when we groom ourselves, it is akin to preening - to appeal to the other person. We live and breath in our own bodies, but somewhere our mind belongs to the one who finds us worth spending time with. Those who claim to go by the law of nature, and those who are programmed by religious diktats tend to normalize heterosexuality. To them, attraction can only lead to reproduction, and carrying the species further. And when they find anything that they have not heard of, or can believe in, they shout heresy. They persecute. For most of us still believe in herds. And always need good shepherds to keep them walking in tandem.

Before you read this remember I am gay. It is normal to like the opposite sex because we are built that way it is how our species stays viable. Homosexuality is not wrong but it is not normal, it has several causes and it is not a choice.
