a few nights ago I was telling my husband about a weird dream I had about visiting my ex husband and being lost on the University of Pennsylvania campus. (I have never been there or knew anyone who had attended this university).

My husband then told me about his dream he had the same night.....he dreamed he was going to visit an old girlfriend he went to college with. She lives near his old college. He got totally lost on the campus and couldn't find his way out.

I have had this experience once before when my mom and I had the same dream on the same night, (came true).

Has anyone else had this experience? What does it mean?

Thanks!

Interesting symbolism.... Ex loves, university campus / labrynth, and the two of you have had essentially the same dream, just the details differ.

Perhaps you are both getting a message from your subconscious (or the collective unconscious) that you aren't going to find your true path until you learn some of the hard lessons from those previous relationships.

Then again, maybe the two of you ate something that sparked freaky dreams.

Take it for what it is, a dream. Don't dismiss it, but don't dwell too much on it either.

I think that your husband is just joking with you.

The odds of two people having the same dream on the same night are infinitesimal, unless you two discussed the scenario before you went to bed that night, or there is a history there that both of you are aware of and are pained by.
