I want to buy an iMac. Can anybody tell me if the 2.33 ghz processor is much better from the 2.16 ghz and if the 2 gb ram makes big difference from the 1 gb

2.33GHZ is way FASTER than 1.6.

1GB RAM is more than adequate unless you want to run Windows under Parallels.

If you can afford the faster processor and extra gig of ram, I'd go for it. But there really isn't that much difference in processor speeds between the two models. You might want to check out the MacWorld iMac reviews from the December 2006 issue, for more information.

i dunno much about macs but ram in macs and pc's mean the same thing... yes 2 gb of ram is better it will make a difference in how much time i takes for ur computer to read offline information... in thiscase, 2gb would be twice as fast as 1gb. same idea with the processor.

I'm really not sure but my boyfriend owns a imac laptop. He knows alot about computers but he's at work right now or I would ask him for you.
