I believe it is effective for 72 hours. But ask the pharmist he will be the only one who knows for sure

The Plan B or morning after pill can be taken with in 72 hours of conception, however the longer you wait the less effective it is. So if its been two days you are at greater risk of it not working. Alot of ignorant people get this pill confused with the abortion pill. All the plan b pill is, is a higher dose of estrogen. It causes no birth deffects and if you are already pregnant nothing will happen. You are just pregnant. My anotomy professor told our class it takes 8 hours for the sperm to even reach the egg and another 4 to penetrate it. These are all estimates of course.

I think the Morning After Pill needs to be taken within 72 hours of sex. I am only 90% sure of that though. Talk to a pharmacist or a doctor, they would know better.

I'm quite sure that the morning after pill can be taken up to 72 hours after having unprotected sex. If it's longer you can have the coil fitted up to 7 days after unprotected sex. The coil prevents any fertilised eggs implanting and can be kept inserted for up to 5 years acting as contraception. Hope it helps :-)

I believe you can take it up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. Depending on where you live, you may need to get it from your doctor. Some pharmacies will dispense it over the counter without a script from your doctor. Best bet is to contact a family planning clinic in your area, they can tell you where to go to get it. Yes. Originally Plan B (levonorgestrel) was only approved by the FDA to be used for up to 72 hours (3 days) after sexual intercourse, but was more recently found to be effective for 120 hours (5 days).

well the only true test would be if you tried it several times. i suggest taking the rest of the pills you have just to make sure. but then, such as in any good experiment, you need to set up a control. have sex with me tonight and ill take the morning after pill two days later and ill see if it works too :-)

yes the morning after pill works 72 hours after the accident. so if you take it you should be fine.

Yes--- it can work for up to 3 days I've been told-- but the effectiveness goes down with time-- so its still possible for it to not work.
