It's entirely likely you'll be outbid anyway, a lot of people use sites or programs which "snipe" on auction items. These will monitor items on eBay and as soon as someone posts a higher bid, the program will automatically put in a higher bid.
You should either watch the item listing very closely, bid significantly higher, or try one of those types of services or programs. If the item isn't very popular you may be OK just keeping a close eye on the listing.

Hey chill!!
there's no need to be so stressed. You can check out other items while you're waiting for the auction to end. Just make sure that you've bid the max you're willing to pay and evrything will be fine.
P.S. even if you're outbid, you'll know you wouldn't have paid that much anyway.

search for additional information on the product.. use www.google.com or en.wikipedia.org
you might find flaws of the product and actually leave it alone.
it's kind of important to do some research on the products you want to bid/buy. hasty is no good in ebay. you need to understand fully the field you're on or you might regret it.
use Opera web browser or Firefox and get extension for it.. they can auto-refresh the page u wannt, lessay, refresh every 1 minutes. then u change to every 1 seconds in the last minutes.. : )..

All of us ebay sellers love bidders like you. Please keep bidding. Most of us can sell items on ebay for more than brick and mortar stores this way.
And some of us have even made money selling dung. Yes real honest to goodness dung....dried and processed of course.
Perhaps you would care to bid on a "Genuine Texas Cow Patty"...mounted and varnished to compliment any decor.

untie and retie your shoes as fst as you can. Record your time. Make a chart of your time sorted by your bet times. Print it out. Hang it up and try to beat your best time until the auction ends.
