CASIO G-Shock are THE best & coolest designer men's watches when it comes to Digital (especially if you don't want people to think you're a puff)...... and also the most likely to last.
Try http://www.discount-watches.co.uk/cat33_1.htm for the best deal.
Mine last 5yrs, despite working in the Locomotive repair shed on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (playing Oxyacetylene cutting torches, lighting steam train fireboxes, including crawling inside a steam locomotive Firebox while it was still warm)....... and going fishing with it........ and crashing my mountain bike into a hedge at an estimated 25mph.
Some of the latest ones are automatically set via a time signal from an Atomic clock (so if he shows up late for a date, he's can't use "my watch must be wrong" as an excuse).
For none Casio, try http://www.coolwatch.co.uk/
Though I can't guarantee they'll be as durable as the Casio G-Shock.

Casio watches used to be a bit crappy, but the G-shock range has some seriously cool stuff on offer. A lot of police and armed forces use them because there very tough and can be repaired easily by sending them back to a casio dealer. This makes them not only cool , but practical also!
Try the link below.....thats the one ive got...cost £150.00

Uchhh I have the SAME problem!! He'll only wear a digital watch but I hate them. I looked on Amazon just now (you can narrow down watches based on "movement," and just see the digital ones). There are some nice designers featured, like Kenneth Cole, Diesel, Tissot (theirs is an analog/digital hybrid), and even Puma if he's more sporty. Hope this helps!!

What's the benefit of buying a designer anything? Is he a designer? Will his friends laugh at him if he doesn't copy them? Surely you should be choosing a watch on the basis of how accurately it tells the time and how well made it is.

Most quality watches are analogue. Digital watches are cheaper, but have a look in shops...
