Male guinea pigs MUST be separated from mom at 3 weeks or they can get her pregnant. Three weeks is when it is safe to separate any babies, but you have to separate the boys from the girls. Pregnancy is very hard on a guinea pig, so I wouldn't put the males with the females at all unless you get them fixed. They also get pregnant very easily and very quickly.

And guinea pigs don't eat their babies, you're thinking of hamsters. You can put the males in with the dad at 3 weeks, and they may fight, in which case you have to separate them, but if they get along they'll be fine.

A good website for guinea pig info, and for good pictures on sexing the babies so you can separate them is www.guinealynx.com (which is where I got all this info to begin with :-)

Wait 8 weeks. Don't put the Dad in the cage with the babies at all.

It's best to keep males and females apart because they're going to mate again. The babies should be removed within 4-6 weeks since they're done weaning and ready to be given away after that.

At least 3 weeks. They should be weaned by then and strong enough to leave mom.
