Do you lick the bottle or wipe it before you put the cap back on?

Neither... then I get all grossed out when the ketchup is half gone and there's goopy crap all over the lid. I'm sure to put ketchup on my husband's plate first cause he always wants me to dish him up so he gets the goopy stuff that comes off when you first squeeze the bottle.

just close the cap let someone else clean it off.
