I have a cheapo Logitech webcam, and it's just not cutting it. I'm looking for something with a nice framerate that has a quality mic built in, as I'm going to be recording some of my guitar playing. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks...

If your Mac has a FireWire port, you can look for an iSight like the other user mentioned. You can also use any DV camcorder that has a FireWire (may also be called iLink or 1394) port and connect it to your computer via FireWire cable. You should get a good framerate and the quality of the mic on a DV camcorder is generally better than that on the iSight, which was made primarily for video chatting.

Try to find a used iSight (Firewire) web cam on eBay.
