Your new case will have it's own on/off button and LED lights, all you need to do is disconnect them from your motherboard. If it doesn't, and you don't know how to add new ones, then you're better off not using that case.

You shouldn't need to remove the power button between cases unless you are building your own case from scratch (some people build acrylic or wooden cases but I'm guessing you are purchasing a commercial case). Cases should have connectors for components like power, case speaker, top/front USB ports, top/front audio input/output, memory card readers, etc.... What you should be looking at is where the leads currently connect to your motherboard and taking notes on that. If you bought the motherboard as a stand alone component, you should have a hard copy manual that details hooking everything you could hook up. If you have a prebuilt system (i.e. Dell), look around on their site for a document describing the motherboard and take note of the connections.

The case inside has a few wires that connect to the mainboard, since your case and mainboard are from a computer manufacturer then it is probably not marked. You have to pull the connectors off to see what does what in your case.
