Yes, it appears that Christianity is not the only religion with adherents who say one thing and do another. Maybe it has to do with the nature of humanity and not the worship of God.

Islam considers causinng confusion and commotion in society is worse than killing!
"Islam" means "peace" and complete surrender to the Supreme Will of God.
It categorically has said "there shall be no compulsion in religion".
Quranic Verse states that the "Muslims" are the just and balanced nation raised by God.
How then couldanyone say that "there is a violent streak in Islam"?
It is his distorted percption of Islam and not a true assessment.

There is a violent streak in Islam, however the majority of Islam is peaceful.

Maybe because there IS a violent streak in Islam. You might have seen it on 9/11.

There is a basis for violence in Christianity as well, just read Leviticus. There is little difference between the KKK, the Nazi's and "extremist" islamic terrorists. They all use obscure references from their holy writ to justify their hatred.

I have always tries to explain that all Islamic people are terrorists if they beleive their religion as passed down through the ages .
Now if they changed it they are nolonger true islamics and we have no need to fear them .
Traditional islam requires conversion or death .

There is a lot of violence in Islam...he's telling the truth.
The Quran tells them to beat their wives, kill Christians and Jews, and destroy nations.
