If you do it. Make sure your conveying the message you want. As a pop singer your appearance and style will speak to your songs. For example what do you think if I say system of a down wrote a country song?

I think that if you change your name and the way you act...it's sad. You shouldn't change who you are for anyone or anything. The songs do sound cool but just don't change.

Folks call me "Geordie" in my band, as that's where I come from -
I used to use the stage name of Gandalf - but that was a bit silly in Rocky Rolly times !
Heck - stick to your given name.

You could change your name. But people will still remember you for what you did earlier. Just change the way you sing. May gain more credit.

do what ever you want, if you have a mind use it
you can call yourself what you want just remember to answer to it , and if you change the way you act you will only be plastic be yourself people will like you a lot better for not being false

If you want to sing about things you want to do then why would you change your name because then you wouldn't be yourself so you wouldn't be singing about what you want to do if that makes sense.

You dont necessarily have to change your name, just release a cd with all the different songs on them....
