about three months ago i had sex and alot of it with the same guy. I recently started back on the pill a couple weeks ago. I was only taking it for a week when I noticed that I started eating alot, nauseas sometimes, and I gained about 10 pounds. When I took the pill a year ago (before i stopped) it made me gain weight too, but not that fast in that little amount of time. Should I be worried, or is this normal when you're on the pill?

(i never skipped any of my periods)

That kinda hard for anyone to rightly answer b/c the pill reacts different with every one person. The best thing for u to do is go get you and ept test or go to the clinic....SOON!!

hmm.. being on the pills could induce a period. The last period you had before the pill... was it normal? If it seemed lighter or was shorter... there's a good chance. That's a lot of weight to gain for being 3 months at the most... Women usually don't start gaining a lot until the second trimester... Take a home test, but if that doesn't ease your mind, go see your family doc. He/She can give you a test to be SURE!

I guess you are asking whether or not you are pregnant. Worrying won't give you the answer to this question, dear.

The only way to find out is to A) see a doctor or B) take a home pregnancy test that offers "early results."

Your symptoms are most likely from either the hormones in the pill or from being pregnant. No one on this board can tell you which it is.

If you had a lot of unprotected sex 3 months ago, like you said, I would think you would know by now if you are pregnant or not. But you never know.

it's normal to gain weight and feel nauseated when you body adjust to being on the pill. a lot of women have symptoms similar to pregnancy but are just side effect that go away in time
